Aggregates & Minerals was born out of the haulage business started
in 1920 by Joseph Henry Chenoweth, known as Chenoweth & Sons. The company diversified in
1978, when Brian & Val Chenoweth took over, into aggregates and minerals. In 1988, the company
name was changed and Aggregates & Minerals was born.

Aggregates & Minerals was purchased by the
MMC group in May 2005. The financial investment and expertise this has brought will allow the company
to improve it's already excellent service and continue to grow.

MMC Mineral Processing Limited was formed as a joint venture between Michael Merriman of
Merriman Limited and the McCullough brothers. The company is primarily involved in the
production of high strength sand and aggregates.
MMC Mineral Processing Limited acquired
Bodmin Blocks, who produce sands, aggregates and decorative products as well as providing haulage solutions,
in 2004 and then Aggregates & Minerals and
Cornish Rustic Stone
in 2005. These four companies make up the MMC group,

The MMC group are able to provide total customer solutions, from the extraction of sand and aggregates
right through to use of them in the production of blocks and paving or to the delivery of a
certain specification sand or aggregate.
